Disclosure: this is not a paid endorsement and I get nothing for sharing this with you. I am only putting it out here because it has been so incredibly helpful the last six weeks that I’ve been using this process.
So here it is: I’ve been on a looking-for-answers path since 1980 and it’s been a wild ride with lots of exploration of various modalities, a boatload of workshops, experiences and practices on top of experiences and practices. But this thing I’m here to tell you about? Oh my stars.
I’ve done breathwork in various settings, and it’s always been kind of meh. Some felt really violent. Another experience had everyone screeching and ranting like the women in that scary old movie, “The Snake Pit.” It’s not been something I’ve pursued given the experiences I’ve had IRL.
But this… it is delicious. You can do a five day mini experience through either the website or the app as an intro, just to get familiar with it.
And then there are all sorts of options beyond that from three minutes to an hour in length and for everything from energizing to going to sleep to working through issues reprogramming old beliefs, and more. Gio Bartolomeo, the founder, has the perfect voice to be a guide for this kind of work and the music that goes with makes each experience really divine.
The very first time I did the free extended process with the music of Nessi Gomes, I completely dissolved the awareness of this world and went somewhere else.👀 This continues to happen in various ways and I love it. I’ve had meetings with Mike, Boo, and our brother the Nazarene among others.
I am not getting anything from writing this. It’s not a promotion or a money maker, it is just something that I’ve found so incredibly helpful that I wanted to share it.
I feel more peaceful, more centered, more connected than ever before and I love it. I rarely pay for an app, but at $17/month, this is a giveaway considering the impact.
AND, to my fellow ADHD/neurodiff folks, in an absolutely astonishing turn of events, I’m heading into my second month of using the app daily and more. That alone is remarkable.
Anyway, check out out if you want to try something new that will both energize and bring peace to your life. In a world off the rails, each experience feels like a safe haven.
And thank you to my friend Janean for sharing it with me. So grateful. 🙌🥳🙏🏻
If you want more information or to try the free five day experience, the website is elementalrhythm.com
You can also look up Elemental Rhythm on Spotify and find some other options to try out at no cost. I believe they’re also on YouTube.

Hey Lynette!
Would you be willing to write in a little more detail about what this is like?
Because the recommendation came from you, I checked it out.
When I went to the Elemental Rhythm website I just felt tired and “meh.” I’ve never liked breathwork and seem to just not “get” it. I don’t know why.
I realized as I was scrolling through the website that I was just dismissing the whole thing out of hand because it felt too similar to disappointing experiences I’ve had before with apps and self-help anything.
I am curious about your ability to stick with it, though, because this is another thing I struggle with too.
My entire childhood I was told “you’ve got no ‘stick-to-it-iveness.’ No idea if that was ever even a word, but I heard it A LOT.
So I was never sure if that really WAS me or if I was just told it so much that I became that way.
Doesn’t matter I guess, because as an adult, I AM that way!
It occurred to me as I was scrolling the Elemental Rhythm website that my feelings about it were similar to how prospects react to my own business.
They read about it, and because they’ve had similar experiences that were bad, they can’t see how this one will be any different so they do what I did. They say an inner “meh” and click away.
So thanks for the inadvertent marketing lesson too!
Seriously though, I’d love to hear more specifics about how this has worked for you and what it entails.
Thank you for sharing this!
Much love,
Suzanne

Hey Suzanne! Thanks for your thoughtful comment. As I was reading what you wrote, I was really aware of how utterly FLOODED we all are with marketing and promises and the kind of jacked up hype that if we could harness it, we could power the world for a year. It’s just too much.
First of all, this appeals to me because I do it on my own, on my own time, whenever I want. I am constantly signing up for classes related to my interests, but I rarely follow through because … well, lots of reasons that don’t really matter.
I’m not sure exactly why this works so well for me. One thing, Gio’s voice is soothing and comforting and marvelous. The words he chooses in guiding these experiences are just right. And the music. I did the free Nessi Gomes darkness-to-light (or something like that) on his website as my first ever. It’s pretty intense. AND the result was pretty amazing. What I have learned over time is it’s probably better to start with something a little shorter and less intense, because it was a lot. Still, I definitely wanted to do more after that.
All of the become-a-facilitator stuff he’s got on the website and elsewhere isn’t of any interest to me. I just want the direct experiences with him because I am finding myself more peaceful, calmer, more centered, feeling much much better about myself. (There’s a specific practice in the Belief Reprogramming section called I am unloved, and I’m in the midst of doing that for 21 days. If I ever had a favorite bad feeling, it’s that, and I am feeling a change in that regard.)
So I’m here with this tiny pop up window and can’t see your comment, so not even sure if I answered your questions. Please holler if I can share more specifics. Side note: I haven’t done any of the energize/awaken programs until this morning, but I found one on Spotify and hooked it up. Five minutes of movement and breath and it was magical. Again, it could just be me, but then it might be you too if you want to try it. Hugs.
